Everlasting Love.
I had no idea the lead singer of Love Affair was only 16 when recorded the song, I had visions of some 30 year old bloke singing it.

Brilliant vocals and a fantastic song.

ellis was a pisshead and fuck up, in the 70s he was in a band called widowmaker, with luther grovesner (aerial bender) bob daisley and huw lloyd langton, they were ok , and tipped to do well, but as i said ellis was a fuck up and a piss head

All the A sides of Love Affair's big hits were actually Steve Ellis and session musicians. I think he probably thought his band mates were a bunch of muppets hence his going solo at the end of 1969 according to wiki. It is surprising he didn't become a bigger star with his vocal talent. Some of the British big names of that era that are still alive are still famous but they made it big in America unlike Love Affair.
